Westcliffe, Dawlish
Another order placed by main contractor, Nevada Construction Ltd. This order is for the complete internal & external painting and decorating in Dawlish, Devon.
The works are to a fire damaged victorian building comprising seven apartments.

LV= Insurance Offices, Exeter
CCG Decorators had this order placed by office refurbishment specialists, Morgan Lovell.
This contact was for the refurbishment of over 30,000 ft2 of office space. All works were phased as to not interupt the business trading.
All walls on this contract had previously been covered with a fabric wallcovering, alot of them were hung very badly. Part of our contract consisted of the making good of all wallcoverings. Some walls had to be filled, others had the loose coverings stuck back and the worst walls were totally stripped and re-plastered.

Elizabeth Finn Care Home, The Lodge, Exeter
This order was placed by Nevada Construction Ltd for the external painting works to the Spicer Wing of this building.
The contract was for the painting of all woodwork to the building using Sikkens paints. Rubbol Satura Plus for all windows, doors & frames and Cettol Plus for all soffit boards & structural posts.
The majority of these works were accessed using tower scaffolding with a cherry picker being utilised for all high works.

St Cuthbert Mayne School, Torquay, Devon
This contract consisted of the exterior painting of school buildings for main contractor MBS Ltd - Images below. There were three main buildings to this contract, all had not been painted for a very long time and were in quite a bad state of repair.
The first is was wooden building. After thorough preparation it was coated twice with Dulux Trade Weathershield Ultimate Wood stain. All windows to this classroom block were finished with Weathershield Exterior High Gloss.
The second building was mainly masonry painting and the third was made up of mostly old crittall windows and metal panelling. All non ferrous crittall windows were coated with Dulux Trade Metalsheild Zinc Phosphate primer before finishing with an Exterior Flexible Undercoat and then an Exterior High Gloss Topcoat.
After starting this contract CCG Decorators Ltd also had a new order placed to paint the remaining buildings to the school - The Science block and also the P.E block.
This meant that we had painted every building to this school by the end of this project.

Halswell House, Paignton, Devon
This order was placed by main contractor M W Benney Ltd, for the internal and external decorations to this Torbay Council owned listed building.
Internally all walls were finished with a magnolia vinyl matt emulsion and all woodwork in a gardenia high gloss finish.
Again, this building had not been painted for quite a while and externally a lot of preparation went into this building, from the fungicidal washing of all algae growth, the stabilising priming of all chalky masonry surfaces to the removal of all defective, rotted wood and making good.
All exterior walls were spot primed and double coated with a magnolia exterior emulsion.

Torbay Hotel, Torquay, Devon
CCG Decorators Ltd utilised our airless spray machines on this recent project.
The contact consisted of the complete interior decorating to the main guest lounges and eating areas.
We worked along side main contractor PJLilley Ltd to deliver to their clients a beautifully, refurbished project.
All colours on this contract were specified by designers with a feature wall in the cafe area being covered in a Muraspec Denver wallcovering.

Staples Car Park, Plymouth, Devon
Our painters and decorators worked through the evenings on this contract. Our client was looking for a reliable painting and decorating company to apply anti-graffiti paints to the main car park and the stairwells. All walls were coated with the Dulux 3 stage Anti-graffiti coating system, allowing the easy cleaning of all surfaces when cured. We also used chlorinated rubber line marking paints to re-paint the faded parking bays and arrows.

All walls have an Anti grafitti coating. All metal railings were thoroughly prepared before having two x coats of undercoat and a finish coat of Dulux gloss. We also replaced all anti slip tape to the stair treads.

Lloyd’s Bank, Dartmouth, Devon
This contract consisted of total preparation to all surfaces before the staining and varnishing of all woodwork. All meeting rooms and part of the main banking hall were then wallpapered with different coloured Muraspec wall coverings.
As this refresh had a limited timescale our flexible painters and decorators worked in conjunction with all other trades, through the evenings and at weekends, enabling the bank to carry on trading daily with minimal disruption to staff and their business trading.
